My father is suffering from huntington's disease. Mild huntington's symptoms are occurring at the moment, but we know that it will get worse. He is 64 years old, and I cannot explain how sad I feel because of him. How it is possible there is no cure. I mean, we clone animals! Couldn't we do something for my father?

Well, I have to admit that even though modern medicine and overall science has made an enormous leap in last few decade (gigantic one in last century), still there are mysteries that has yet to be solved. Huntington's disease is one of those. No cure, no hope for those suffering from it, only medications to ease the pain and eliminate the symptoms for some time. Nothing more. I am sorry.

With all due respect I would refrain from stating there is "no hope".

There are Universities in the US that are doing studies and from what I've read

stem cell therapy is showing promise for neurodegenerative diseases.

Never, NEVER, give up hope.
