Surgical Abortion may be painless to you but please consider the pain you will cause your baby!
If you are old enough to have sex then you should be old enough to face your responsibilities and your parents. (They were young once!)
Yes - It is scary to think you are pregnant - but we only ever hear the views of the mother- to - be.
You should look up what an abortion actually is and see what your baby looks like at the stage of pregnancy you are at - then decide!
Or pretend that nothing is there - plenty of people will feel sorry for you - and wrap you in cotton wool - but who will consider the baby?
I could have got pregnant at 17 - I could have had an abortion - thank goodness I didn't - I had kids at 29 - my friends that had abortions when young are now devastated when they have looked up and seen what they destroyed.
This is a death sentence for someone you are talking about - don't kill in a rush - take your time and ask your mum for advice!

She asked about abortions, thus the answer was about her options for abortions. She was not asking about a guilt trip, your opinion is your own and you should not be pushing it on other people. She is already scared enough and I'm sure will talk it through with a professional before the decision. She does not need your propaganda. May I also add that those sites with "this is what your baby looks like and this is what abortions do to it" are often not even real and are just scare tactics used by die-hard anti abortion lobiests. If you pay attention you will see that the abortions they show are from much later than when abortions are usually allowed to take place.

i found a site BY A DOCTER that said...3 weeks ur unborn baby has a heartbeat and brain waves.....5 weeks fingers and toes...and the baby keeps growing more after that....you usually can't be sure of a pegnancy till after the 5 or 6 week which means you are killing someone that is innocent and doesn't desiver to die...and yes i'm a teen and i have been through alot of "scares" and guess what...you get over and pass...if you don't believe what i'm saying go to yahoo.com and search what does my unborn baby look like....parentingdecisions.com/baby/book2.htm this is one of the pages that i found

The morning after pill is hormones, it causes nausea and other side effects.

IF you take it while pregnant, nothing will happen.

OOOOKKKAYYY! .... Can we stop talking about abortion and talk about what this forum is supposed to be for... Geez...

Okay I had sex on the 14th and took the day after pill the 15th. Could there still be a slight chance of getting pregnant. The 14th was my ovulation day. And I'm not freaking out or anything, but just let me know if their is a chance... Because I know pregnancy takes a long time to occur. But, if my egg was already fertilized... is it possible for the pill to stop implantation... Because I've heard that it's not garunteed to stop implantation.

RESEARCH shows that the morning after pill does NOT prevent implantation, only OVULATION.

It could still work, because ovulation does vary in women from month to month, and there is no 100% way of knowing what day you ovulated. Unless you had a BLOOD TEST.

Obviously the MAP is not 100%, and yes there is a chance of pregnancy.

Carifairy..

It was my first time to take birth control pills. I was taking it regularly for 10 days and when my boyfriend found out about it he made me stop (march 7). on the 6th day(march12) after going of the pill I had bleeded for 4 days(march15).
I had unprotected sex last march 20. Is there a possibility that I might be pregnant?

Last sunday(march23) I bought dianne 35 and took 3 pills right away. By march 24 I took 2 more pills, and did the same on march 25.

I had sex with my boyfriend two days before my supposive inplantantion. I normally have 3/4 days in which I have to wear panty liners due to discharge, but this time I only had to wear 2. Could I be pregnant? We did use a condom.

Okay, My last period was from sept. 24th to sept 29th. I had protected sex for the first time in 2 years on October 12th. My concern is that I felt wetter than normal after we finished. On the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October I had some spotting (red, then pink, then brown) and I was supposed to start my period the 26th/27th of this month (October) but I am a little late.

So could I potentually be pregnant? Because I am only 22 and I already have a son (almost 4) and a daughter (almost 3) and I also have a fibroid in my cervix (1.6 cm) so I really do not want to have another child at this time. Is it too early to take a test?

I have heard that implatation bleeding only happens for less than 24 hours. Is this correct or have I been misinformed? %-)

hi i was wondering if u could tell me what the difference is abotu spotting and a period?
im on the pill but i forget to take it all the time and this month i didnt get my usual tuesday mroning period while im on the placebo pills. instead i got some brown weird stuff on wednesday morning. it wasnt enough to take up a whole junior tampon, let alone half. and then today (thursday) i got more of the same i got yesterday morning plus a little this afternoon. this afternoon was more red, but the amount didn't increase. should i count this as my period and not worry about me being pregnant? or is this more like spotting and i should be worried abotu pregnancy?

Honestly,

IF one was TRULY "Pro-choice"..... then that person would not mind listening to the "opinion" of the other person on "pro-choice". Quite frankly, this is NOT placing this girl in a guilt trip, she has the right to speak her opinion, if people "choose" not to agree, that is fine, they dont need to read it.......I BELIEVE that if all these women truly arent against abortion, then maybe they need to be in the room AT ALL stages of abortioins, INCLUDING THE PARTIAL BIRTH, and let them see for themselves what is being "removed". I cant remember a time when I heard a woman say "OH MY......I am pregnant with products of conception" or "Im pregnant with tissue".

Lets do one another a favor and allow one another to speak our mind, as out freedoms allow us to do so. If you really want a woman to investigate facts about abortion, and WHOLE HEARTEDLY believe in abortion, than it should not bother you to have someone look at both sides, because then you will know that your belief is right, right?

Hi well at 12 am on sunday me and my boyfriend had sex together for the first time. It was going fine but then after we stopped we realized the condom had just broke. He pulled out while the condom was still on and broke outside of me. I was still worried though and bought plan b and took it at 7pm on sunday. What are the chances of me getting pregnant?
