Saw it last night. There are several themes running throughout the movie, two of which don't have to do with Bush but rather with the outcome of what Bush has done. There were people in the theater who clearly were Bush supporters.

I think it was Genie who asked a while back what makes a fact and what makes a viewpoint. This is a viewpoint Moore's presenting, a particular take on the facts.

But it can inform our own viewpoints so that they're fuller, and we can stand more strongly behind them, and that's why it's a worthwhile, if challenging, thing to see this film.
I left this movie feeling resolved in my stance that war sucks. The theme of who serves in the military struck a chord with me.

I didn't think it would be that much of an impact picture. I assumed most people who saw it would be leaning left and that it wouldn't change the mind of those leaning right.

I finally saw this now that it came out on video. Pretty powerful stuff, makes you realize how little the media shows you, and as a result, how much you sort of forget (ie, the horror that is war) Many interesting things about Bush and his connections and background that I didn't know before. Some of it may be spin and a lot of it is Moore's viewpoint but it is a very interesting one. I would recommend it. I would also be surprised if it didn't influence people's votes.
