I've noticed that all cow milk products give my daughter terrible body odor. She is six years old, almost 7. We switched to Almond milk, which she really likes now, and this has helped with body odor, completely. On the days that she is exposed to and eats cow dairy products, such as yogurt, cream cheese, etc., we almost always notice the odor within 6-24 hours.

Just curious if any of these girls are overweight and if that contributes to the odor. Thx

I'm writing to let you know my 6 year old has body odor and has been eating an organic diet since age 3. I wouldn't immediately discount early signs of puberty, but it seems unlikely. I'm her mother and did not get my period until I was 16. I think the medical community is quick to diagnose. Use an all natural deodorant. In fact, do yourself a favor and make your own. It's so easy and you'll be setting up your daughter for a lifetime of healthy living.

I would remove all synthetic hormones from your child's diet and environment. Buy only organic milk, butter, eggs, meat and poultry. Use only BPA free plastics and avoid microwaving/heating in plastic containers. Look for paraben free body care products like soaps, shampoos and sunscreens. Make sure you mention the issue to your pediatrician as it can be a sign of precocious puberty.

my daughter also is having armpits odor n it started when she was 5..she's 6 now.. she bathes everynite before bed...she doesnt really eat or drink cow dairy everyday n doesnt drink almond milk or eat soy products... i havent brought her to the Dr but after reading all the posts I will book her an appt.. if she's having this issue now, what happens when she's a tween!!! will it get worse? I got my periods at 8 y/o..i hope she doesnt experience puberty early..she has an older sister who's turning 8 n she doesn't have armpit odor...it wouldbe funny n strange if my 6 y/o goes thru puberty first...

I think for your case, let her drinks lots of water to wash off the toxins.
Hope it helps.

My daughter started suffering from underarm odor when she was just 7 years old and I too thought that she was too young. Her pediatrician told me that it was normal. She started using a natural antibacterial body wash and her body odor is gone. My son has had this go on from time to time for the last year. He is 7 now.

I’ve not sought out a pediatrician however. It’s not noticeable unless I stick my nose underneath his arm. So, for now, we scrub well at night and that’s it.

I hope this helps many, at the age of 7 I believe I (female) suffered from pretty bad underarm Oder. As I got older it seemed to have gotten worse. I also started sweating through my shirts in the 5th grade. Now I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s with a single mom so all I was given was deodorant and black shirts so my sweat wouldn’t be noticeable. It wasn’t until I was in my 30’s that I found out 1. I have hyper- something or other which is basically overacted sweat glands. Thankfully it was only under my arms. As some people also get it in their hands and feet. AND 2 (which I found out about a month ago) how to pretty much get rid of my underarm Smell. Mix baking soda with a little bit of water so it’s Luke a slimy paste. And instead of deodorant rub it on your armpit. I have not worn deodorant since that day and I have zero oder. My 6 year old just started to get underarm oder and starting tomorrow I will apply the past to her. It’s an absolute miracle solution that I would have paid thousands to know growing up. Good luck everyone!!!!
