Wow, I know this post is old but I am also a teen, and am experiencing the same things. i cant speak as fluently anymore, I forget things alot to the point where sometimes I think I have alzheimer's (though I know I don't), I cant concentrate, I get distracted by the simplist things, I take procrastination to a whole new level, it takes me a long time to think of think of simple things, including mathematical things, and I used to be really good at math, I forget about things I learned a couple of weeks ago, and understood well, things that most other people in my class understand... All kinds of mental things. It's scary, especially since I'm in the eighth grade...

Wow i'm glad that i'm not the only not going through something similar to this. For me I can't remember some things. look lets say I did something at a certain time a week ago, I might not remember what day I did it on. I feel lightheaded too sometimes and then on occasion i'll feel like i'm not really "there" or present. Almost like a fog in a way. My processing has gotten a little bit slower and when I talk to people I don't fully process what they say sometimes. I feel this throbbing sensation on the top of my head also and I want it to go away. My brain doesn't really work as fast as it should and it should be going pretty fast I got (ADHD). I'm in almost the same situation so if someone knows something that can help plz say something. Ps. I don't do drugs either or anything like that and i'm a teen too. I haven't talked about this to anyone yet so again if anyone has any suggesstions plz plz PLZ say something that may help.

This sounds like it could be stress burnout but I'm not for certain. Memory loss is shown to be a main factor in that and in your daily life. It only makes sense you feel this way because you're brain is exhausted from stressing itself out. About what? That's for you to decide. It could be depression, anxiety, work related stress, etc anything. Also you might feel like there's nothing worth doing because you don't have any motivation. All you need is something to do ands onetime to take your mind off of things. Hope this helped!

You had a concussion. There is also post concussion syndrome that can mean you still feel the symptoms of concussion such as memory loss for a while after. Just try stay calm it will subside. Also go to your doctor and explain what happened just to be 100% your brain is okay, which I'm sure it is.
