My procedure was the banding of 3 internal hemorrhoids, botox for a fissure and the removal of 3 skin tags, right on the opening. One of the skin tags would swell up every now and then like an active hemorrhoid, and I would see blood on the toilet paper maybe 3 days out of 7. I had the tags removed because it is a pain in the arse (pun intended) to make sure that is cleaned well! ...2 weeks later and the tags are smaller but definitely still there...Enough to still get in the way of a simple clean. I hope that they get smaller, but fear that all the swelling has gone now at the 2 week mark. I hope someone can tell me that it might get even better with time.

Need to go to the nurse tomorrow to get my dressing changed. Hoping the soreness will go as it is constant but dull. but I am surprised at how little pain there is compared to what I have been reading here. Perhaps it's because I only had tags removed, not hemorrhoids.
Been drinking a lot of water and trying high fiber foods to keep constipation at bay. Will update as I recover for others who may be googling this. It was a lot of help for me when I was anxious about my surgery.

Like other people here i also noticed that my skin tags were not really "gone". In fact when I went to the nurse to get my dressing changed she asked me if there were 3 tags as she could see them (still). We guessed that it was swelling and having rung the nurses station from the hospital where I got my surgery done they said that the doctor for sure cut it off, because they sent the tags to the lab for analysis. They said I may just have swelling and to call the surgeons secretary in a week if it is still the same.
One thing is for sure if the tags are still there I will NOT be repeating the operation.
Pain wise I have been getting random muscle spasms which are surprising. They're like a sudden, deep, piercing pain that go away as soon as they come. Hoping they won't stay long. I tried the sitz bath and Epsom salt for a bit but didn't find it practical as I don't have a sink in my toilet room and it was a lot of hassle to keep refilling the jug of water. Also it hurts to sit fully for an extended period of time. In fact when I have a BM I tend to half stand/squat as that position puts less strain on the butt hole.
I'm On Day 4 now and I think the pain was a lot worse on days 2-3. Just make sure you take your pain killers and get ahead of the pain before you really feel it. Take the paracetamol even when you don't think you need to because the pain WILL come on and it's better to be on top of it.
I managed to pick up my kid from school today pushing an infant on a stroller so things are definitely looking up. Managing some house chores too so I'm hoping the tags will heal soon. Every BM is a victory to me, as it means Im not constipated and won't be in pain. I have so far taken stool softener every other day. It's repulsive even the chocolate flavoured one so I eat a lot of fibre and drink water just so I don't have to take it every day.

3rd Update. Day 8 and my 2nd nurse wound check up. Pain has mostly gone but apparently there is a smudge of pus where the excision is. Need to sitz bath in salt water more and get the site properly clean after BMs which is an ordeal to say the least. Will come back in 4 days for a 3rd check and hopefully will not need antibiotics!
Disappointed that I went through all this just for 1 out of 3 tags to be "removed" it wasn't even fully removed just trimmed. Will call the surgeon after the Xmas break to ask. I also have a 1 month follow up check at the hospital scheduled so hopefully it will be clearer then as to why it wasn't all removed. Maybe there is a medical reason vs just laziness or incompetence.

Over a month ago the swelling subsided and the large tag was definitely removed. A smaller one was left and although I do not mind it I wonder if they left it out on purpose as cutting it off may cause damage due to its size.
To date I still see very very minor bleeding due to tears when my stools aren't soft, so I have to make sure my water intake is high. Overall I am happy with the result. No more itching or discomfort when sitting due to the size of the tags which were my main symptoms before.
