I had my THD surgery 2.5 weeks ago and although I was so happy to have had it over with and be healing nicely, on day 13 a prolapse stage 3 resurfaced and now I feel like I'm back at square one. I see my surgeon in about 10 days but I'm dreading a redo! Ugh.

Had my THD / HAL-RAR procedure about 2 months ago, so far I haven't really seen any bleeding anymore and the pain is gradually reducing (although still there a bit after a BM) , however there's still some noticeable swelling at the anal area whenever I have a BM. Is this normal for those who have done this procedure? I am wondering if the procedure wasn't successful as it was supposed to and if I need to go for a Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty for these swelling or maybe the dearterialization hasn't happened yet? If you have had this procedure please reply. Thanks

I had HAL RAR 14 days ago. Unfortunately after a week I started to notice prolapse again so I’m assuming it’s failed. So devastated at the moment. Going back to the surgeon in 2 weeks. Has anyone had a similar experience?
