So I read that you shouldn't have sex, douche, or wear tampons in 24 hours before you have a pelvic exam, but what if you do? I also read that it's because you don't want to chance messing up the final results by doing any of those, but is it dangerous if you wore one a couple of hours before going, but takie it out right before you go? Or is it just because it might mess up the results? And will they know if you've worn one a couple hour before?
