Hi, my friend has hard bumps on her arms and legs for several months. She went to doctor, but he said that it’s nothing to worry about. She is not worried, but she would really like to lose them. Do you know what are these bumps?

Hi, it happened to me when I was camping few months ago. My arms were exposed during those few nights, and when I came home, I had hard bumps on my arms and legs. The most logical explanation is that I’ve been bitten several times by some insect or smaller animal. Maybe I even got a parasite during camping, from a mountain water or food that wasn’t kept in a fridge. I don’t know about your friend, maybe her bumps on the arms and legs were caused by something else. Ask her if she depilated her legs and arms, because it can cause ingrown hairs that easily turn into hard bumps. There must be a cream for those things, something that will reduce the irritation. I heard that urea cream mixed with 2% salicylic acid could help. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using.

I HAVE A FRIEND WHOSE DAUGHTER ALSO HAD A FEW BUMPS KINDA UNDER HER ARM, SHE HAD BEEN CAMPING. THIS GOT PAINFUL AFTER A FEW DAYS SO HER MOM TOOK HER TO THE DR. THEY HAD TO LANCE THESE BUMPS BECAUSE IT WAS SOME KIND OF A STAFF INFECTION. SO BE CAREFUL, IF IT GETS WORSE AND NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP GO TO THE DR.
