Hi, i am currently in my first real relationship. We have been dating for several months and want to have sex. However, my girlfriend is really tight, i mean REALLY tight as in fingering her slowly and carefully with one finger causes her pain that she can only bear for about a minute. We are both virgins so we don't really know if this is normal or not. One thing is if she is not getting aroused, then her body will not loosen for things like sex. You guys both need to be in the mood to have sex to do it. It shouldn't be forced because that usually ends up being painful for one of you.

We are both 18 (first-year uni). We tend to do about an hour or so of foreplay before I try to go down there and she's usually quite wet (I mean I don't really have much to compare it to).

If she is already very wet by the time you are going to insert your penis, and it is still tight, then you just have to be patient and work it in slowly. If she's hurting too much, then she should tell you to stop, but it may take some time for her body to get used to your size.

I'm not sure, it's more that she feels lots of pain while my finger is inside of her, and it seems like the deeper i go the more pain it causes her.

I'm not entirely sure, the first time I fingered her there was this ring sort of a thing (not sure what its called) at the entrance of her vagina which was very tight, but it has stretched I think because I can fit my entire finger inside, however after moving it in an out slowly a couple of times she has to stop me because it hurts her too much. That sounds like it could be her hymen if it feels like it has stretched, it could be just that she has a thick hymen not just a thin membrane, have you looked to see what it's like?
