My Husband Stays Hard After Ejaculation/orgasm

I"m seventy years old and have had it since my first ejaculation at twelve. Only a couple of times have I ever gone soft right after coming. The rest of the time, I remain erect for as much as twenty minutes after ejaculation, if there's no more stimulation. If the lady and I keep at it, I've had it last well over an hour. Since your experience is one-to-one, I'm sure you don't see it as rare. I didn't either, at your age. Over the years (and the ladies in my life), I found that most urologists couldn't answer my questions and the women were generally surprised. There was one virgin in my life, and she didn't know anything, so she saw nothing odd about it (or else she found everything odd about it.) If I'm still around ten years from now, talk to me about it then. I have learned that it is probably hereditary, since my dad had it and so does my son. Too soon to know about my grandsons, if I ever find out at all.

40 years of ejaculating and never saw staying hard a problem. It takes me 40 minutes after I've ejaculated to begin going down and several hours to a full 24 hours before final shrinkage.    Astoundingly there seems to little to no information out there these days about many different sexual issues such as this one and yet we are such a sexual country. I find this amusing and ironic as I myself am a virgin but I know the answer haha. I have done a lot of research about this particular condition as I am a 30 second man and viewed this as sort of the holy grail for guys like me, yet  I discovered the answer when I was still a kid while reading an encyclopedia.

    About 1% of men do not experience a refractory period, that is the period after orgasm where the majority of men''s penis relaxes and eventually goes limp. There is no harmful side effects and it is not a health concern. Women also do not experience a refractory period and that is why they are capable of multiple successive orgasms. After orgasm the body normally goes into a refractory period where it attempts to dump the massive concentration of blood in the penis (which is what makes you hard) and return it to normal size.

    Normally a man can attempt to fight this with Kegel exercises (exercises either gender can do to strengthen their pelvic regions and increase sexual performance and orgasm power), through an increase in arousal such as a very beautiful partner or through extra stimulation, or through drugs like Viagra or Cialis. In normal males the most likely time they will experience this naturally without performance drugs is when they are teenagers. Teenage females will be at the peak of their physical beauty and this combined with the incredible amounts of testosterone flooding the average teenage males brain, he will be extremely aroused. The more aroused a man is the more blood gets pumped to the penis. Teenagers are often sexually inexperienced and more open to experimenting which can also be extremely arousing for the male. Once men reach the end of their teens, their testosterone drops and continues to slowly decline for the remainder of their lives, making this state increasingly difficult to achieve. For the average 30 male it can be quite a struggle to fight to keep blood in the penis while the body trying to get rid of it. Men in this 1% simply lack this stage altogether.

     Orgasm and the fluid that men ejaculate has nothing to do with the blood emptying from the penis and it becoming limp. They are both tuned to go off around the same time, but one mechanism has nothing directly to do with and is not dependent on the other. For whatever reason the switch that opens the floodgates to let the blood back out of the penis is simply not flipped. There is no part of the body these men lack and therefore there is no side effect other than the blood does not leave rapidly as with normal men. Like with women these men can continue to have sex until they lose interest or are satisfied.

    The only "side effect" is that unlike most men who must fight against the urge to ejaculate or find some way to compensate for the body attempting to dump the blood when they do, these 1% of men can enjoy their own sexual pleasure without worrying about satisfying their partner. One way of looking at it is that you are born with the stamina of a porn star. There is almost no women who are not going to appreciate this as long as you know your partners limitations. Not everyone woman wants to have sex until their vaginas are chaffed for example. However, if they DO like having chaffed vaginas, then there is your dream girl. Alternatively, girls as well need to remember that if your guy has always been like this, he cannot control it, and he may not have the desire to keep going. If he does then great, just make sure, in either scenario, you both always talk it out and are honest with each other. On a side note ladies, if a guy does not have this condition but it still happens at some point, it just means he is extremely aroused, so pat yourself on the back because you are either very hot or very good in bed or both.

     I hope this clears up the fear that any of you have about this and puts your mind at ease (because there is no reason not to enjoy it). Doctors are not trained on issues that cannot be tied to a drug, such as erectile dysfunction and Viagra, so their knowledge on subjects such as these is limited. They must have experience with other patients with similar conditions or have learned about them from coworkers or on their own time. I say this because I see this time and time again where people who have  issues like this that go unanswered by doctors panic and think they have some kind of problem. People do not throw out money for research for something like this to find out what causes it unless the effect can be duplicated and sold as a drug like Viagra. Since there is enough of these types of drugs to fix most male sexual problems, the reason behind why some men are like this will probably never be discovered. What is known is what is observed, that these men simply lack a normal refractory period, and that there is no complication or known lack of a body part to cause it, it just does not happen.

      So ladies cheer up, your guy isn't broken, he is actually superman and before you think of dumping him ask all your girlfriends how their sex life is and compare it to your own, because you only have a 1% chance of finding another guy like him. Guys cheer up, enjoy yourselves for what you can do naturally while poor bastards like me desperately pop Viagra like candy and try to do penis push ups all day to get past the 2 minute mark haha.

 I am 37 and my fiancée is 52. I can not believe his thing stays up for a while even after he ejaculates .
