I see that people are talking here about different problems. I have one and I would like to ask for an advice. I am a driver. I do my job very knowingly and I am proud of that. I have two kids, son and daughter. My son likes motors but my daughter has some problems with driving. She is 19. She can't even pass driving test. What can I do to help her?

It seems that you love your job a lot. It is written in every word of your message. But maybe you put too much pressure on your kids regarding driving. Your son loves motors and that is OK, but perhaps your daughter does not. Did you ask her that? Maybe she is not motivated enough or she is scared. Or you expect too much from her.

Hi there,
I am not sure what could be the reason for her not passing the driver’s test. Do you know is she has any problems with learning? Where does she fail? The fact is that not everybody had to know how to drive, but I have to be honest here and say that it is a little strange that she is having a problem because it seas like your family enjoys driving. Have you tried some other approach of learning? Could it be that she has no interest in this and just doesn’t want to give her best to pass the driving test? I hope that you will find the solution for the problem.

All the best,
Danella

My daughter is 17 and can't pass the written test. It's not like when I was a kid. They had a couple of different paper tests. Now they change up the questions every time she goes. The book for my state is printed on newspaper quality paper. Having to read that tedious, poorly written and formatted document makes your eyes roll back in your head. I have many years experience with writing technical instructional documentation and the drivers book is horrible. Since they have online testing with new questions each time, why don't the states put websites up for learning that resembles what they do at the DMV? That would make too much sense and probably cost a lot less than their crappy printed books.
