I have to say that I am very concerned although I am not sure if I should be. It seems that my two-year-old son can not play by himself or that is what it looks like to me. He is not thrilled with his toys, at least until someone comes to play with him. What is all this meaning?

I think that he needs your attention and he is getting it through playing with you. I guess that is nothing that serious but I think that at one point he will have to learn to play by himself and that parents will not be always available whenever he wants to have some fun. The sooner he learns that, the better.

He must be a first child, all first are this way. He will not change. your second will not be this way. Try hard to change him, but I doubt you will.
