just got my teeth out yesterday, and although I'm a little sore from surgery I already feel 10X better! I noticed immediately when i got into my car to leave from surgeons office that my sensitivity to light was better and i was still drugged up at that point and still could notice a difference! only day 2 though so i will keep u guys posted!! feel free to ask questions

Were you dizzy or spaced out before the teeth were removed and did it stop? Which teeth and were they poking through or still under the gum line?

I wasn't so much really dizzy, but did feel spaced out, brain fog, hard to concentrate type feeling ,etc. I had my right upper and lower wisdoms taken out! My left wisdom teeth never came in/existed! & my teeth were slightly poking through the gum line

Is the spaced out feeling gone? I still have 2 bottoms and a top but none of them are poking through. My C2 in my spine is not aligned and I was told that could be why I feel drunk all the time.

its actually not all the way gone, but I'm still healing I've heard it could take a few weeks. however, i do feel much better and have more energy now which helps. maybe i have something wrong with my spine? my back and neck hurts a lot sometime especially when waking up so maybe there is a connection, how did u find out that? what kind of doc did you go to? and can you be treated?

Hello, everyone. I came across this post a few weeks ago in a desperate attempt to find some answers to my problem.
SHORT VERSION: I got them out, it worked for me. Read on if you want.
Without reiterating what everyone else has said, I was facing the same problem: sensitivity to light, ongoing, persistent migraines, sinus pressure, head and face tenderness, etc. Strangely, I became sensitive to light at all times of day, not solely during a migraine. I had migraines throughout my life, but I found this to be odd. Watching TV, looking at my phone, the SUN!!!! all seemed to hurt me. I had my eyes checked, my sinuses, blood pressure, etc. and all was good there. I was beginning to think I might have a tumor or something. I am 27 and though I am in good health, I wouldn't say that I live a super healthy lifestyle or anything like that.
I suspected the problem was with my wisdom teeth although they were not bothering me in the traditional sense; none had erupted, I had no jaw or gum pain in the nearby areas or anything like that. My dentist was a bit surprised that I wanted them checked if I felt no pain. The x-ray showed they were still pretty high up and my dentist said he would not automatically assume I would be suffering from headaches by looking at the x-ray. Only one was impacted and it was located on the side of my face where I was not feeling pain--though I know it could have contributed to the problem.
Since I am 27, he figured I should go ahead and get them out anyway. As the extraction day drew closer, I sort of felt my headache almost radiate from the right side of my jaw. It didn't always, but I remember it occurring enough times.
I had my wisdom teeth removed over a week ago and have not had another migraine. The surgeon told me that he could see through to my sinus cavity when he pulled one of my teeth--something I guess that couldn't be seen in the x-ray? Weirdly, I did feel a few phantom headaches afterward...it sounds crazy but it reminded me of how amputees describe the sensation of itching where the limb would be. I could feel a very dull ache from my jaw, but it never grew and it quickly subsided. I also had another mini headache that lasted about 5 minutes...but it was NOTHING compared to the pain I was experiencing before.
Sorry for the long post. I know I really needed to hear back from someone who had their teeth removed. I wanted to wait until I was off my painkillers for a while before replying back to tell anyone who may be looking that this did solve my problem. Obviously, I am not a doctor, and this may just have been my solution.
I hope that if someone is in the situation I went through, that this post provides at least some comfort. I desperately needed something! If you're going through this, hang in there. I feel for you. Get them out! I'll reply back if something changes.

Unfortunately, a wisdom tooth infection has a lot to do with the brain heart and lungs, but that's only on severe cases you can prevent this from happening, if you get them removed or take proper care of them, myself still have all 4 and terrified to have them taken out, but I think it's time I get them removed because I'm worried mine get severely infected, due to my anxiety I always think the worse.
