So for anyone with impacted wisdom teeth and feeling terrible with light-headedness, anxiety, irritability, brain fog, issues focusing, fatigue, etc., I'll be another data point to say that taking them out may significantly help. Good luck to all of you!

And 2 x dentists. I have 2 wisdom teeth that have never come through but the dentist assures me they won't be causing this issue. After reading your story I'm definitely getting my top right wisdom out as that is the side I'm getting ear ache aswell

Hi everyone!
Wow, this blog is old, but here am I having the same problem! Started out as weird dizziness/lightheadedness last year in July, at first I did not pay too much attention to it. After a month, I had a panic attack because of a sudden feeling of losing balance ... ever since that, I had depression, anxiety and panic attacks often ... along with dizziness. I have been to many doctors, done many tests and everything came back fine, so I was sent to a psychologist because they think I have some kind of mental problem...
Well, 2 of my wisdom teeth are impacted, since last year summer. I can often feel like my mouth is full of bacteria, it hurts, and my gums are like double sized. Reading this blog is such a reveal. I feel this weird feeling of losing balance whenever I stay still. Sometimes I also feel like I'm moving when I'm not, and I even see things move a little when I'm not and its terrible. I really hope that this is all caused by my teeth ... well obviously anxiety makes it ALL WORSE. But Im gonna go see a dentist very soon now.

Just as an update for those who asked and some questions I read since my post:
- Haven't had a single episode of light-headedness since getting the teeth out, nor brain fog or daily swollen lymph nodes (10 months ago). Highly recommend if you're around my age (25) or even just in your 20's with impacted wisdom teeth, get them out. It's not worth keeping those teeth when they can really mess you up like this.
- After having them out, it may take a month or two to return to normal. The first few days you'll feel terrible since you're healing. You might get fever from any small infections at the site (make sure to clean the extraction sites properly) and rest. This will take some time, so be patient and try to stay calm.
- If you were/are stressed, this will slow down the healing process. Getting the teeth removed should help a lot for the vertigo, light-headedness, diziness, etc, but if your work/life is very stressful, you could have other problems persisting. For me, sometimes at night, I clench my jaw and wake up with jaw pain and some headaches. In other words, getting the wisdom teeth out will help some of the direct symptoms, but some may be due to lifestyle and stress which you'll have to resolve separately.
Good luck everyone! Speedy recovery to all who go through with getting them removed. I hope it helps, and also, if any doctors or surgeons say it won't help, they could very well be wrong. My doctors and surgeon were dead wrong and I'm a lot better now :)
