Hi Kengi,
I personally haven't had any experience like this. However I have read few stories here and what I found is that everybody was trying to find some amusement in order to overcome the need. Many have started doing exercises to work on their body. Also diet is important. Try with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Do you have any plan on how to go through this?

No plan , im just gonna wing it , i cant seem to quit right away, i broke down last night and smoked one before bed i couldnt contend with the shakes and i needed a couple hours sleep, Ive associated most activities and social time with marijuana use and wont seem to do anything without it in my system. I have a punching bag that helps quite a bit, my difficulties are that its everywhere i go everywhere i turn. The only way i seem to feel better is to jump on these forums and drops a message or two , seeing as how i cannot confide in anyone personally, after leaving my messages and speaking my mind it feels as if a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

someone suggested lemon juice and water as a natural detox , i dont know if this works ... but it tastes terrible lol

Well if posting here will make things easier feel free to post your daily routines. Will you try to leave it all at once or you will lower the amount of smokes per day?

Also try adding little sugar with lemon, it might ease the sour taste.

You didn't mention if you are smoking your own homegrown or a very potent bud but, regardless, from what you describe your use at 2-7 grams a day is decidedly on the heavy side. My personal experience is that if I exceed an eighth of a gram for any stretch of time, perhaps even just a few days, I will experience to varying degrees several negative psychological side effects - feelings of guilt, depression, anxiety and worthlessness being predominant, even to the extent of thinking at length about death and dying. That's all on 1/8 gram, and you are sometimes 50X that dosage. Your blood serum THC level must be considerable.

Advice is cheap, but here's mine. Write yourself a note spelling out why you need to shake this habit and then quit cold turkey, referring to the note when times get tough for you. No illusions, this will be very difficult for you to do because cannabis has become a major part of your life, like a dear friend who is always there for you. Except now that friend is dragging you down into an abyss. For most people, the body metabolizes THC within a period of 4-5 weeks but in your case it might take a little longer. If you have extraordinary self discipline, which is not evident from the information gleaned from your limited posts, you could try weaning yourself off over a period of several weeks. This would minimize the (largely psychosomatic) withdrawal symptoms you will experience but the danger is you will swing back into high usage again once you start to feel better than you do now, not recognizing that you are feeling better because your serum THC levels are declining. Cold turkey, with support from someone you love if you can bring yourself to asking for his or her help, is almost always the better option. Another thing you might consider is calling AA, who are very good at helping people in situations such as yours.

Last point to consider from my own experience. I have been smoking cannabis on an irregular basis for many years. Not daily but still several times a week. I smoke very small quantities for the most part but will indulge in a larger dose from time to time which for the most part works out. As careful as I am, however, I still experience negative emotions which completely go away once my usage returns to normal. I use the drug because it stabilizes my mood without locking me to the couch and I believe it is safer than the prescription drugs available to me - my own perspective, not an endorsement. I also enjoy tobacco very much but have not smoked it for 25 years because I have consistently failed to discipline myself sufficiently to enjoy it without compromising my health. I have tried to enjoy a nice Cuban cigar every couple of months, for example, but it inevitably leads to a shrinking of the time interval from a couple of months to a month, to a week, to a few days, to smoking heavily again. I finally quit, with a note to myself and cold turkey, after admitting my addiction. You may have to do the same.

Courage.

Almost forgot about your coughing some blood. From my perspective (insert usual caveats here) it is almost certainly severe bronchitis from heavy coughing induced by inhaling all that smoke and you may need something to help you over it - fluticasone propionate comes to mind, for which you will need to get a prescription from a doctor, who will insist on a chest x-ray just in case there is something else at play. It could go away all by itself once you quit smoking, but it would do no harm to pay your doctor a visit, maybe even discuss the greater issue with him/her. Your doctor is definitely someone you can trust, if only from the perspective that your personal confidentiality is guaranteed under law.
