It is possible that you slept with your body pressing on both of your hands cutting off the circulation. The numbness in your finger tips should go away after a while. If the numbness persists, you will need to see a doctor. Many disease conditions can cause peripheral neuropathy. The hand and fingers are innervated by the radial nerve, the ulnar nerve, and the median nerve.
