IT sounds like you are having some issues and I'm sorry that you are having some difficulty getting a straight answer from your doctor. I am not a qualified physician so I would be hesitant to tell you that you are safe to go abroad on holiday. I think you need to get assertive with your doctor and insist that you find out if it's safe for you to go or not. It's your holiday and they need to help you out! I wish you the best of luck. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Wow...this sounds miserable.. I am just going to encourage you to seek a second opinion. If your basic, although important questions are not being answered, you need a different doctor. As you can see, your treatment, and recovery depend a lot on your relationship/communication with your doctor. The questions that you have seem like ones that should have been answered quite easily by your doctor. Perhaps you can be more aggressive with your current doctor. However, it sounds like you need to find someone that is communicative and doesn't leave you feeling uninformed and scared. This is not good for your health either. Let us know what you decide......

it is sad to hear that you ar suffering numbness in your stomach. If I were you I would go to hospital or ask your doctor to see a specialist. My husband had a hernia operation and now 1 year later is having the same problem as you. We will be seeking medical attention today. He also has a lump so I hope everything is ok. I wish you the best but don't let your doctor deciding that you have no problems. Seek a specialist and hope for the best. Good luck to you!
