I had dental work performed on the right side of my mouth earlier this year and immediately after the work was done I noticed one of my teeth was extremely sensitive, and since a few days ago I have had numbness and tingling in the areas that took the longest for the numbness to go away. Is this normal? Also I had Crab and shrimp in Gumbo on Thursday.

No, I don't think this is normal. The numbness on the right side of your face and lips may or may not be related to the dental work performed on you earlier this year. The one thing that I am most concerned about is stroke, which can cause numbness on one side of your body. If this is indeed the case, you need to seek emergency treatment right away. It is better safe than sorry.
