Hopefully someone can help me. I went off the pill about 8 months ago after being on it for 10 years (only ever with one guy my spouse for the last ten years and want kids soon so went of pill). I felt great except for a few problems that have grown and are now huge problems. The first problem was I had bleeding after sex. It always stopped by the next morning but it happened almost every time. I was tested for everything including ultrasounds, pap, blood, STD, yeast etc but nothing came up. Made appt for gyno visit in december. But the last few months I have had a lot of problems. It started three months ago with what we thought was a yeast infection. Test revealed nothing. Then they thought it was BV, took pill but still problems. Tried two more yeast treatments and nothing. Doctor is stumped. For the last two months my vagina is so swollen, red, buring and dry (not itchy) and it gets worse everyday. Also have a bit of a swollen stomach. The only time it does not hurt is during my period. Going crazy waiting for my gyno appt. I am thinking that it might have something to do with the fact that I went of the BC pills. Could the pills have been helping with a hormonal imbalance or is this something else? I have had problems years ago but no specialist every said the same thing! We are taking our first real trip together in a week and I am so depressed thinking we won't even be able to have fun!

I also wanted to mention that I have IC (bladder condition). Can this also be affecting it?
