One sore rep bump/pimple on labia minora

I am going through the exact same thing right now. Yesterday the inside of my labia minora was itchy and I discovered what looked like a blood blister. I could feel a lump if I grabbed the 'lip' between two fingers.
This morning I have woken up to a very tender and swollen clitirous and labia minora. I have just had a shower and managed to pop the blister... puss came out. So it seems that was a spot..
Still doesnt explain the itchy, sore swollen symptons though

I have the exact same thing. The first time I got it I squeezed it and nothing happened except the bump got bigger like quarter size. It hurt REALLY BAD and was itchy so I went to the doctor. BAD BAD BAD IDEA! I went there and she said she had to cut it to drain it and that it was like an ingrown hair or pimple that just got bigger. I was freaking out and very well should of been because I was on my way for the WORST pain of my entire life. Worst then birthing a child or gastric bypass surgery or recovery. She first stuck me with a needle filled with liquid anastesia. The needle was ok but the minute she started to push the liquid in I thought I was going to die. I almost screamed and was coming out of my seat. Then she cut and squeezed and I felt it all. Nothing got numb like it was supposed to. I was in excrushiating pain!!! (sorry I cant spell) Then when that was all done she told me that it could come back. OMG!!! NO WAY IN HELL can I go through that pain again and I cried just thinking it would come back. Well its been several months and the damn thing came back in the exact same area. I knew this time not to just squeeze it so to not make it bigger. But man it itched and hurt. I knew it needed to be drained and I was not going to the doctor EVER again. So with my husbands help we stuck it with a needle (which hurt but NOTHING like at the Dr.) and man was it NASTY. Puss and blood came out like crazy. And it hurt like hell to squeeze but we did it and then cleaned it up with peroxide and alcohol. It went away but this week came back. (Its been like 3 or 4 weeks) So today I went in the shower after work to clean myself up and get ready for the madness again. But I must have scrubbed myself hard enough to reopen the hole I left last time and when I bent over to look at it I saw puss already comming out so I squeezed it and my husband did also and we recleaned it with puroxide. Then I got in the bath with soapy water to wash it again. I have no idea what else to do. If it comes back again I am going to call a doctor to find out what the heck I am to do??? I will never let a doctor cut it out again but I need ideas to keep it from coming back. If anyone knows please let me know!!!! I keep my self really clean too. I clean my vagina and butt at least twice a day. I am weird about keeping myself clean. So I dont get it. Any advise would be wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the last poster... it really sounds like you have a bartholin glad cyst... which has turned into an abcess. I had an experience much like yours. I went to my doctor who at least diagnosed it correctly, HOWEVER, the intervention was not effective. He referred me to a doctor who would drain it and.... OWOWOWOWOWOWOW - AND, it did not prevent the problem from recurring. I kept managing it at home when it would come back, doing what you would do when it would come up - pop it myself, soak in warm water. Only problem was, it would always come back.

Last year, it got REALLY bad and I realized it was too much for me to deal with on my own. I made an appointment with an Ob/gyn who was HORRIFIED that the first doctor hadn't treated me properly. He expressed a lot of empathy that I had to go through all of this, and he used a word catheter after draining the abcess to create a new opening.

The only reason I'm posting this is i'm hoping I can encourage you to seek help from a doctor who knows what they're doing! Go specifically to a gyn and explain your past bad experience. Good luck!

yeah don't squeeze it, the blood and what you are calling puss is there for a reason,

put some ozonal or another disinfecting jel (Savlon if your British lol) and leave it alone.

Try to wear light cotton underwear and looser pants and skirts, stay away from tight denims ect.

This allows you to 'breathe' and heal. Then give it a coupel days, eep clean and dont touch it or POP it

its the same with popping pinples it spreads them!

I have the same problem. I have a lump on my labia minora. It made that one side of the flap much bigger in size. It was the same colour as my skin with TINY white dots on it. I squeezed it, as i had been given advice to see whether or not it was a pimple or an ingrown hair, it oozed out with yellow puss and then blood. It has since turned a darker pink almost as if there is blood just under the surface of skin. All this has happened within the last 6 hours so i can only suggest it is fresh and hasn't had time to heal. Is it better to just leave it now and let it go away?

I have something similar right now and have also had something like this in the past. It's a single pinkish bump on the labia majora. It hurts a little when touched or when I walk, but, thankfully, there are no others. It appeared only a few days ago. There's no hair on it, but I'm not one to shave someplace so intimate so I don't think it's an in grown hair. I think it's just a pimple in a strange place. I wouldn't pop it because it could leave scarring and the open cut might cause an infection. Eventually your body'll deal with it like it would a regular facial pimple, but if you're worried or if it doesn't go away after a sustantial amount of time, you should see a doctor...

i have one it's on the outside, it's like a bump and i just tried to pop it but all that happened was it bled and i started to feel sick T.T anyway i don't know what it is

For me, this is the second time I get this lump on my labia minora (same exact place as the first time). The first time I called my OB/GYN and she said:

1) you should soak in warm baths
2) Don't wear jeans or corderoy pants. (as these pants have a hard ridge in the croch area that can cause problems)
3) Don't wear tight underwear (if you see elastic band ridges they are too tight)
4) If you excersize wash and soak afterward (hot tubs work too!)
5) After intercourse you need to wash the area (soft towels only)
6) Don't shave

The first time it only lasted for a few days. But this second time, I have been so busy that haven't had time for a relaxing hot bath or anything like that... and unfortunately it has lasted for about a month already. I started using Neosporin and baby rash cream and it had started to shrink. But then my vagina started to get really itchy and the lump got really sore. I think the Neosporin wasn't a really good idea as it was probably killing the good bacteria and made the outside of the vagina itchy 8-| I'm trying now to just relax during my morning shower and soak down there with warm water. I don't think it is an std and don't have any other symptons otherwise. I would, however, like to know what this really is and if what the doctor had recommended to me last year is the appropriate treatment.

Try not to force a pop. And If you do try to pop WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!! SOAP WATER, AND HAND SANITIZERS!!! ( You don't want a staff infection in this area!)

I also have had this. i only have one bump on the outside. i finally popped it and it also bled and had white puss. ive had this mayeb 2 or 3 times. I looked online and couldnt find anything about it. I shave my hair too so im hoping it might be an ingrown hair or something. Are you sure that it couldnt be an STD?

I had this once before and it got unbearable. I went to the doctor who said it was an abcessed bartholinds cyst. He drained it and put me on a course of antibiotics. I have had it since but it hasn't gotten so bad. I'M ASSUMING that it is just when the bartholinds gland gets clogged it produces a pimple like thing. If it's not popped or doesn't open up by itself it can become abcessed (basically meaning infected). Hope this helps ladies!

I'm having the same problem burning swelling irritation of the left side of the labia. I can't even move at this point I'm laying down rite now at 4 in the morning because it hurts to much it's rite on the left side it's really swollen at this point I tried to pop it I couldn't I have had this for 3 well4 days now and dose not look like it is getting any better I just put some tea leaf oil on it an I will never do that again it burns to the point where I started to cry I am all out of options please anyone help me tell me what I can do to get rid of this thing im not even able to walk without it being painful and I work at a job where I have to be up an walking for 8 hours I'm not even going in to work these next couple of days till it stops hurting :-(

Lol I take back what I said when I applied the tea leaf oil it burned real bad but one hour later an I can actualy feel it working it dosnt Hurt as much omg that sruff dose work lol I'm going to use it tomorrow I hope ill be able to walk normal Again :-D

I have a small tender lump on my libia majora and it hurts if i push in my groin a bit too :/ , also a bit swollen....can anyone help?

i have found a bump on my labia its small and it hurts.  im glad im not the only that had this i was really worried.

It sounds a lot what I had. I had several with different time frames between them. Continuing over about six months because I didn't want to go to the doctor. I did take antibiotics several times and it went away for awhile and came back. I finally went to the doctor and got it checked out. The doctor said there was an abscess inside of me between my digestive system and reproductive system that had formed and was getting infected and the infection would come out through those lumps of puss and blood. So not good. I prayed and had people pray for me and mine went away which is a miracle. I was going to have to have surgery to drain the abscess if not. I suggest go to the doctor.
