I just experienced something similar to what you had. Last night i noticed a painful bump on my labia minora while wiping. Naturally I started freaking out, I've been in a committed relationship for five years, but the thought of STDs is still in the back of my mind. Anyways, I decided to leave it alone, but while showering I held a hot wash cloth between my legs, right on the worrisome area. The next day, while using the restroom and wiping, I pressed on the bump very hard with the toilet paper and it popped! There was a ton of pus and blood (sorry for the gross factor) and the bump went down in size. It no longer hurts, so hopefully it will go away now. I'm thinking it was just a pimple in a really odd spot. Try the hot wash cloth thing and try to leave it alone and see if yours pops on its own. I think if it lasts longer than a few days though you should go to your doctor.

I have the exact same thing now, several bumps in the right and left side of my labia majora. I've seen a gyno before when it was on my minora, bigger, and more painful. She said it was just a fluid filled cyst that didn't seem to be dangerous and suggested peroxide every dayi with a Q-tip and check to make sure it was going down. Sure enough it did.
Now, i think these are due to ingrown hairs, as I was waxed for the first time recently and it's taking quite a while for the hairs to grow back. It is annoying and embarassing and I am going to try to hurry their disappearance with more peroxide. If this is your first time seeing them I strongly suggest a trip to the doctor because you can never be too safe. :-) Good luck!

About 7 years ago (at age 40), I noticed a sharp pain when wiping. Washed my hands and felt a pea sized lump. Incredibly painful to touch! Got a mirror out for a look at my labia. (I have 2 sisters and a mom who are nurses, so we had no modesty growing up or body shame). It was not red but definitely ready to pop. Tears came to my eyes as it exploded on the mirror but what a relief after. Washed the area gently with soap and water and it went away in a week. Then 6 months later it returned. Same spot. This has been going on twice a year except for a year after I took accutane for adult acne. Sometimes they show up on a different spot on the labia. Both my sisters said it's just a zit - leave it alone. Of course, I am a "popper". Sometimes they stick around longer and re-pus up. This spring I had one during a visit to my dermatologist, so I asked him to have a look. He confirmed it was a pimple. He said it doesn't matter how often I shower - I am one of the unlucky ones prone to acne and unfortunately mine shows up down there as I enter peri-menopause. Sigh. He didn't give me anything but advice: keep the area clean (baby wipes instead of toilet paper), don't wear tight jeans, use unscented panty liners and sleep sans bottoms whenever possible to air the area out. Ladies: Do not use baby powder or douches! In fact scrubbing can wash away the "good" bacteria down there. Warm sitz baths help. Got one making me crazy right now as I type this. Please go see a GP, OBGYN or a dermotologist for confirmation. He/she may prescribe a topical antibiotic. Sorry you are experiencing this, but it is quite common.

I get these occasionally. I apply a series of hot (not steaming, don't burn yourself, compresses, A hot tap water soft washcloth, to the area. After about 20 minutes the area usually comes to a head and will pop itself or will express with ver little pressure. Then another series of washcloths to gently clean area. Wear loose clothing for a couple of days and just keep the area clean. Good luck, I know they are painful.

I had this a little while ago. Instead if squeezing, carefully pop it with a sterile needle then press around the hole to get all the fluids out. Then just wash carefully and keep the area dry if it all possible. You might need to do this a couple times but it should clear up within a few days.

I get these on a semi-regular basis (maybe 4-6 times a year). I use Witch Hazel on a clean cloth and hold it there for a few minutes. The cooling nature of the Witch Hazel is wonderful. Usually mine pop on their own in 2-3 days. Once it drains, it starts to go away.
With anything like this, it is important to see a doctor. They see these things all the time. It is best to rule out any sort of infection, or STI. Knowledge is power, ladies! The more you know about what is going on, the better you will feel in the long run.
Take care of yourself, and your bodies!
