I’m twenty. The sore is about the size of a pea on my left scrotum. White at the surface and white & red scratchy skin, like a rough area about the size of a dime around it. I tried to pop it and it popped with a white hard puss and then liquid puss afterwards. Noticed it in the shower and after it was popped I have been using hydrogen peroxide. I generally get checked up 3 times a year or so and have come up clean. I always use a condom, but have not had a check since my last partner. I could really use some help. Also the bump was not painful and only slightly annoying after it was popped. Looks more like a popped blister, but not exactly a chancre, please help. No problems or irritation urinating either. Thanks. :-(

If it popped, it was probably just a pimple or an ingrown hair. It was wise to put hydrogen peroxide but you should have also put some antibiotic cream to prevent infection.
Infection would just made a bigger pimple or a cyst that may persist for some time.

STD’s like genital warts and mulluscum (those that cause bumps) usually appear in clusters and they don’t look much like ordinary pimples. You should tell the difference.
If the pimple is still present and hard to pop, don’t push it. Try making a mixture of warm water and some salt (half cup warm water and less than half teaspoon salt) and then soaking some cotton or a sterile gauze into the mix. Apply to the “bump” for about 10 minutes a few times a day and see if the bump becomes poppable.
