Okay so it is a week overdue. I have had no creativity to inspire me to come up with a cool way to describe my race.
I felt good for the first 2/3 and when I got to about mile 10 I felt my determination slip. I was fighting some small cramps and tightness in my calves and hamstrings since mile 4. The weather was pretty nice, the wind helped to keep me cool. I am hoping to use this as a good jumping off point for the rest of my winter training season.
Splits:
.42 - Gun to the start mat
Mile 1: 7:39
Mile 2: 7:27

Mile 9: 8:17
Mile 10: 8:21
Mile 11: 8:15
Mile 12: 8:15

I was wondering when this would come up. Nicely run race; way to hang in there. Setting you up nicely for The Big One.
