I had a cervical rhizotomy 3 weeks ago for left C4-5 facet pain. Previous steroid injections ad helped for 1-2 months. Right after the procedure, the pain was gone for abouot 2 days then it started to come back. It was as bad as it ever by five days and continues to be severe at times. I also have noticed pain into the left deltoid and now I am starting to feel weakness to the deltoid with exercising. I saw my doctor at 2 weeks and he said to give it more time. Is this a normal side effect or should I be concerned about a nerve injury with the weakness?
