Hi take vitex I heard it helps eliminate cyst. It's herbal supplement that assists menstrual cycle and ovarian cyst. Read more details on google but I have a sister that chose not to do surgery rather took the supplement and few days later all was gone... Free of pain

I just had this surgery on wendsday. Today is Sunday. I need someone to tell me that the pain in my arms is normal. I had a cyst 6x7 on my right ovary and one almost identical on the left ovary. I'm able to move around some now but the pain shooting from my shoulders down to my fingertips is unbearable. I'm afraid maybe I'm having a heart attack. I don't know. I'm 30 yrs old. I've never had surgery before.

I was 17 and thinking about college, when I thought maybe I'm pregnant because my tummy was growing rapidly. Went to the planned parenthood and was referred to the obgyn. I was examined there and was told I had ovarian cancer and was given 4 months to live. My family was freaked out, but I felt calm, just a little worried about those I would leave behind. I am now 30 years old, still here, but I live with chronic pain and from what the docs have decided, it's nerve damage from having a tumor the size of a professional football in comparison, removed from my tummy. I drag my leg behind me because it's very, very painful to lift my leg. I'm on strong pain medication, but they said a hysterectomy could be effective for helping with the pain, but in the end I ended up in more pain because there b n more scartissue. If any body wants my advice, if you ever see this b n your situation, keep your stuff if you can while your young, cuz it feels inhuman to not have an option to repopulate. If I only think a day ahead then I'm fine, but any further and my depression takes hold. It's not easy having a noticeable disability and b n so young, feels like my life was stolen from me. I know I'm not alone and there are worse things out there, but I live alone and watch my siblings have their babies and see the love n their families and I wonder if I go on, or if this is it. Maybe I can give a child a better life than what they would've had without me one day. It sucks it's so hard to adopt, when there are so many babies out there that need me just as much as I would need them! I will go with God and I'm along for the ride. We'll see!

Hi, if it can heIp some of you, I had important adhesions after a cyst+ovary removal surgery that caused back / hip pain / cramping of the illiopsoas muscle and it was solved by deep massages and ostheopathy.
For more details, I had a dermoid ovarian cyst removed together with the ovary (emergency surgery: cyst was big and caused a torsion that cut blood flow and started a necrosis of the ovary) in 2000 on the right side, I was 17 at the time and otherwise in good physical shape. Since then I experienced pain in the lower back and hips (right and left) and sometimes cramping of the illiopsoas muscle on the right side (you will know if you experienced it, it is very painfull: feels like a deep cramping on the whole side of the abdomen as very roughly, this muscle links the lombar spine to the hip joint.). After searching for the cause for a few years, I began to work on the scar tissue to break down the remaining adhesions due to the surgery that caused tension in the whole abdomen / lower back area. I was helped by a good osteopath, a great thai massage therapist (proper thai massage adapted to a specific heath problem can be really powerfull, it was what gave me the most important relief) and yoga poses (I am a regular yoga practitioner since 10 years. It especially helped for illiopsoas stretching). A good physio can probably help as well. Since then it almost completely disappeared. For me it has been a long time since the surgery and I am not sure how soon after a surgery it is recommended to start working on scar tissue but I hope that it can help some of you !

I am 37, and had a hemoragic cyst and my left ovary and Fallopian tube removed over 6 months ago. I am having the same exact pain on my left side every time I ovulate. I've been back to the dr several times, had a Ct scan, sonogram, and several exams. They can't find anything. I know something is there. When they removed it all they used a morcellator. Morcellators have several recalls because they can shoot bits of organs back into the abdominal cavity. I found a thing called ovarian remnant syndrome. If even a tiny bit of ovarian tissue is left behind it will continue to produce hormones and can even form cysts if a follicle remains. They are usually found surrounded by adhesions, which makes the smaller ones harder to detect. The only way to know if that's the issue is to do exploratory surgery.
The pain puts me in bed, heavily medicated for at least 2-4 days.
Does anyone here know about ORS? Or suffer from it?
