Hi, I suffer from IBS and don’t know how to handle it any more. I have more and more pain in my abdominal area, and I can’t do anything to relieve it. I would like to know how the other people cope with this problem.

Hello, I suffer from IBS too. It started just with occasional constipation, and then I started having gases and bloating. I was able to cope with that somehow, but now I started having pain too. It appears in my left side of abdomen, a little lower from a rib. I heard that many people have pain with IBS, especially in this area. Maybe it’s because the colon on this spot is turning down, and bowel could be blocked here. I have infrequent bowel movements that are painful or difficult, and I’m not shore what is causing them. I tried to avoid stressful situations, food with lot of fat, alcohol and sodas, but I still feel pain. I decided to have a colonoscopy, and I really hope it will help me find a reason for IBS.
