I am in the army and I run 5 days a week. I noticed that I get bad pain in my right foot after a certain distance of running. Any idea what this might be and how to avoid it?

@hemi2384 - Hope your foot is feeling better. I'm not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt. Does your foot hurt at all times? You might have a stress fracture. Honestly, I'd go to your nurse station to see if they could take a look.

Its only when I run for long distances but thanks for the input. I think its circulation based or something along those lines...

You probably do not have good running shoes, or the cushioning has worn down. Or you could be wearing shoes that are incompatible with your foot type.

What sort of pain is it?

Where is it located?

Does it happen during every run?

What kind of shoes are you wearing?

All of these questions are important ones to consider in order to get to the cause of your pain...

Hope you're feeling better. If not, consider the above. Good luck!!
