I started having this pain in the left throat the day after I ate a few pieces of Pringles potato chips. Every time I swallow or yawn this pain occurs. It's not like a traditional throat pain e.g , like when you have a cold or flu. I can still talk normally. I went to the doctor today , and the doc said that my throat was very red. Hence , he prescribed me some antibiotics. The doctor also said that I had a slight fever. I am 16 years old , and I don't smoke. Can someone advise me on what's going on?
