I have the same pain but also on my middle upper quadrant, I do not have a gallbladder , the only cause I believe for me only would be either stomach pain or oesophageal spasm caused by a nerve damage that does not function properly or a refer pain from the spine I have spinal stenoses in the whole spine , of course with these type of pains only a GP can help and guessing is useless. with mine I already have confirmed diagnoses in the past but for others stop guessing and call your Doctor right away because these pains can be serious.
