I've been google searching these symptoms and can't find a thing on what I've been feeling after my period for several years. Some months it's not so bad, some months it doesn't come, and this month it's really bad.

1 - 5 days after my period ends I feel a strange pressure/discomfort deep inside, and I feel it more when I sit. It's hard to really explain, but the sensation feels like it's coming from my cervix/bladder/uterus (straight up; center) area... If I could further explain by pushing or pointing to the area, it's in the center of my belly about 4 inches down from my belly button (approximately where my uterus is by looking at diagrams of the female anatomy). I find that if I have sexual intercourse or any kind of "play" right after my period, it seems to trigger the sensation more so... it's been going on for several years; but I do recall that it never happened when I was on the pill.

This feeling does go away after a week or so; and I have no other symptoms at all... no stinging urination, no discharge, no smells, nothing. I'm wondering if other women experience this, and if anyone can explain what's going on...

I have the exact same problem. I had some tests done and it turned out I have uterine fibroids which make my uterus "bulky" which puts pressure on the cervix causing those symptoms.
