pains in stomache but no blood,only once:S

I am 12 years old,ive been getting really painful period cramps but i have not started yet my mom told me to stick a tampon up me just in case,but when i took it out there was some blood on it :? ,but i still havint started now i do not get blood but still have bad cramps!! I have a question to,how long do you have your period for?? PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!! :cry:

i am 21 and i have always been like that. every month i get the cramps but i only bleed anywhere from every 3 months to a year before. i asked my doctor and he said it was normal to be irregular but that nothing was wrong with me. but you should go see a doctor to make sure.
