YOUR outa here!! and boom sometimes a stupid anxiety perscription and most times Not.
(ER DOCS)=heres Your discharge papers and stop worrying! that will be 600 dollars and you can pay up front 300 today and it will reduce your bill by 15% In other words thanks for coming in but your not dieing so SEE YA!
The ER is for people who are facing a life and death situation its much cheaper to go to a 24/7 clinic guys its not worth going to the ER
and paying 600 dollars to be misdiagnosed because of the rush the doctors are in. Its worth scheduling an appointment and waiting to see someone who gets paid to take the time to tell you the truth. so even without insurance its 60-140$ for a PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSES Dont clogg up the ER guys. Im sorry but its the truth if your not dieing BYE BYE.

In addition, I have had stomach issues most my life as well. I throw up easily, heartburn off and on (rarely) espeically with alcohol or spicy foods. When exercising my indurance is low, and it takes my body 4-5 days to recover instead of the typical 2-3 days. I find my body is very sensitive to dehydration, and always need water around.
ECG normal, blood test normal, stress test normal, heart monitor show palpatations... I'm now seeing and Endocrinolgist so we'll see if he can find anything.
The biggest problem I have with all this is not wanting to be alone, because when I get symptoms I feel I may need hellp and I don't want to be stuck. This is mainly when running, biking, snowboarding, or any outdoors sports. I do what I can, but I always feel limited.
I'm probably missing other information and details. I have been trying to find links to what causes these issues, and nothing holds up when tested. Electrolites, salt, hydration, food, sugar, rest, stress, ... you think of it I've probably tried it. Like others on this list, I feel people just don't understand or don't believe me. I can't blame them, how can one person have so many weird issues. We know we do. If I find anything in my tests I'll post them.

I had the same exact problem and went to the ER. My Interist and Cardiologist didn't know what was wrong, all test came back fine. Thank god for my GYN because she figured it out right away. Hormone difficiantcy. Even though I am still having cycles my hormones were way down. Started HRT and felt better right away and have been fine for over a year now.

I have been going thru the same symptoms for just over 8 years now, in the begining when it started i was 15 and they said i was just looking for attention when tests came back negative and for a while i stopped telling anyone when it was happening until i collapsed 4 yrs later when i was 19 and rushed to the emerg. i spent 5 days in the hospital going thru test after test and all they said was it looked like a heart murmer and anziety and i should take it easy for a while. My symptoms have been getting much worse since then now im 23 and have over the past 6 months been feeling heavyness/pushing on my chest, diff. breathing, panic, dizziness, light headedness, pain, numbness and tingeling in my left arm. I have appts. with cardio dr. next month to see whats going on and a stress test the following month. It's so comforting to know that someone else is going thru this.
I have always felt like I had something terribly wrong and they just haven't found it or maybe I am going crazy.
What I don't understand is, if so many women have the same symptoms
then why can't they find out what causes it or how to treat it. I would love to know how others deal with work and everyday living and this condition.
It dictates every area of my life.
Love to chat with anyone.
It sure helps to talk with others.

It's eerie how much this sounds like me. When I was 15, I had the same thing. They diagnosed it as pericarditis. Hospitalized for 5 or 6 days and when I was released, they told me I needed to take it easy. No info on how or why this happened. They more or less told me to chalk it up to anxiety or teenage angst. Why else would a 15 year old have these symptoms. When I was 25 it came back again. Chest tightness, heart palpitations, etc. Hospitalized for only 4 days. No official diagnosis that time, so they just called it pericarditis in order to have something to call my condition. Now I have it again. I'm now 28 and it's far worse than it's ever been before. Tightness in my chest, racing heart (between 108-144 resting) light headedness, shortness of breath and extreme fatigue and dry hacking cough. I can barely get out of bed, taking a shower is my extreme workout now because doing even the simplest of tasks is enough to make me ready to pass out. So far no one has found anything, even though lung and heart problems run in my immediate family. Cardiologist appt on this monday the 9th. See what he has to say. My neighbor also told me to see a pulmonologist since she experienced similar symptoms. My biggest fear is that they'll too easily dismiss it as nothing more than anxiety. I know my body, I know the difference! How was it for you? Did they manage to find anything? Did you get a diagnosis?

Stress sounds like the culprit. When you start to feel it coming on lay on your back and relax. Close your eyes, get a cool wash cloth put it on your forehead, and breathe. Concentrate on your breathing and then count to 20. Tell yourself everything will be okay and think of something or someone that makes you happy. I've had a horrific battle with anxiety over the past year but when you put these symptoms all together and actually gain a better knowledge of anxiety and or stress, it helps ease the complete manic stage of terror that sends you to the ER. Just know you will be alright and research more about stress and anxiety.
