For 10 years I have occasionally had stomach gurgling associated with AFF. I read a post about the vagus nerve being irritated by the stomach being bloated which in turn sends wrong messages to the heart.
I discovered by not eating nuts and not drinking coffee I have completely solved the problems. No stomach bloating no heart palpitations.

I had a drug dependency but have been clean for almost ten years. My palpitations are stress related. Unfortunately my doctor sent me to a health center that treated me years ago for my addiction. Immediately they suggest I go back into outpatient drug treatment.I cannot sit thru hours of stories of drug addiction with people that are using or freshly clean. This will only add to the stress my life already has. I am almost 60 years old and a grandmother. Relapse is not an option or even on my mind but this program feels everything always relates back to that. Now when I have an attack (2-3X a year) I go to the ER. They give me a shot that almost stops my heart but afterwards I'm OK. It feels like being hit by a brick wall when administered. Hope you do better.

Hi, I have been suffering same symptoms, first mildly for a number of years, much more acute and frightening since last autumn. Doctor described it as a virus repeating itself. There's not much treatment available except to build up immunity. (Superbug?)

I'm very interested to know what happened? I've been experiencing the same things, been to the ER twice this passed week for feeling like I was having a heart attack, but that wasn't ever the case according to medicine. I am a 21 year old male and have GERD, but have always kept it under control with prescription. A lot of symptoms I was experiencing was that of hyperthyroidism, heart palpitations, swollen neck, pressure in head, warm radiating feeling in chest though after some blood work my thyroid was fine . The next day after the ER I was so fatigued I slept for 2 days straight , then the next day I was attacked with different symptoms like tingling in my arm, pressure in my chest, shortness of breathe again heading to the ER for the same reason, and again nothing was wrong. Now ever since the first episode my heart palpitations have not went away and I don't feel the same, I can understand that it is a stressful situation not knowing what a wrong with you but this has to be more than anxiety or stress, because I've never felt like this in my life. This undiagnosed condition makes it very hard to live an everyday life. Just typing this out makes me feel a bit better, I would appreciate any kind of feedback or your stories.

I'm currently up at night dealing with this too, so I decided to google it. I wake Up with my heart racing, sweats, burning up, feeling like throwing up amongst other stomach problems and heart palpitations. My doctor said it was acid reflux but I don't think so. This has been happening for a couple years but has gotten worse. I'm at a loss and have no clue what to do, I thought I was the only one. sorry to hear you guys are going through it to :/

Yes terrible nausea all the time, not feeling im gonna vomit though. I have a very strong sense it is heart related. Actually was walking around ER in case I collapse or something. Going to chest xray and stomach ultra sound day after tomorrow.

After my last palpitations that sent me to the ER I went to a Cardiologist again after 7 years, Fisher they had told me they didn’t see any irregularities but I’ve had this problem since I was 12, and am 24 now. In the ER they also though my palpitations to be anxiety and I don’t disagree that it may be triggered my anxiety but it ended up being SVT, look that up. In my case my cardiologist said that there’s only two ways it could go, and mine was that my heart created a second path in the heart for electricity to travel which ends up going in a loop instead of the exact route it should be taking, and when it’s traveling in a circle that’s the palpitations. I have now met 2 others one male and another older female who have had the procedure done to fix that exact problem. I am young but still considering the surgery. It took me years to get answers and it took me not accepting their anxiety BS that they tried to tell me it was.... they were completely wrong, my heart isn’t function properly, it literally created a second route for whatever reason, that isn’t normal what so ever. So to all of you who may not have anxiety and have been dealing with this for years, go to a specialist in Cardiology, I had to see the head cardiologist at kaiser in my area before I got real information.
