I had my surgery four days ago. I also have a golf ball sized lump in my throat. I was told before the surgery that this would happen and not to worry about it. They said it was normal, and could take up to one month to go away.

I am going to the same medical group in Princeton. I need to have parathyroid surgery and Dr. Moses was also
recommended to me. I have some questions I would like to ask you about the surgery, if you would not mind.
If you are still on this site, please reply. Thank you

Nope plan for a longer recovery. Two days later and I am still shaking like a leaf but I think mine was underlying for a long time. I agree with getting it fixed while your relatively asymptomatic. I have congestive heart failure and high blood pressure from the "wait and see" method my pcp dr. recommended.

I would like to ask any patient of Dr Stickney of Seattle Polyclinic if they were happy or not with their parathyroid surgery, and did she check all 4 glands?

My parathyroid result is 106, and the throat feels thick. I planned a 5 months trip and to take care of this when I return. Will I be ok in the meantime?
