I'm not a counselor nor a pharmacologist.
You're still reacting to the absence of a drug that was in your system in fairly large doses on a regular basis. Your system is adjusting.
You say that the counselor doesn't know about the extent of your drug use. They should.
There may be something that they can do or have prescribed for you that will ease some of your symptoms.
However, it is doubtful that you are going to die because: You did so many drugs.... that you've stopped these drugs... or that you feel stressed or guilty about this.
But you DO need to deal with the feelings that this has caused you to experience.
You DO need to deal with the choices that you made, and the feelings that lead you to behavior in this manner.
You DO need to recognize what environment and friends caused you to adopt these behaviors and drugs.
These are issues that a professional counselor can best sort through with you.
I urge you to be frank and up front with your counselor about how you are feeling and why.
It's the BEST way to be productive with them, but it's not the only way to deal with this. You might be able to go it without admitting the extend of your drug use... but I don't recommend that option.
Perhaps someone with more experience with Exctacy and drinking can comment.
I've never used it.
Good luck.
