Hi everyone,
I'm 34 and noticed a pea size lump in the left side of my sack. It's not attached to the testicle. I do feel discomfort on occassion and what it feels like is a sharp zing of pain which radiates from the left testicle up my left lower abdomen. I've had several physical inspections, 3 ultrasounds done, blood tests and a MRI done. It has been confirm that this lumps exist in my left sack, but all tests show that it's not cancer. What bothers me is they can't tell me what it is and the are giving me the option to have it removed surgically. If I agree to have it removed they say I will lose my left testicle. To me I don't agree with this option and I'm seeking for more answers myself. It's kind of upsetting to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, but no one really knows what's it is. My main worry is that if it's left to long it might be worse. Anyone have any updates?

lol...... 47 here and looks like you've got prostatitis mate, had it for a while, you need AT LEAST 3 months of antibiotics as the old prostrate is a b****r to get into, also recommend that you find some way of prostate massage, or at the lower end, straining hard when you c**p, hopefully the pressure will help the prostrate drain a little, i tried large doses of kirkland mucus relief as well, as they helped break open the bacteria pockets in the prostate as well as some tamsulosin (eases the prostrate) you can aid the process after prostate massage with a bit of the old hand work in the groin if you know what i mean, and you WILL get a burning sensation on urination, but that will hopefully fix the problem, but HAVE PATIENCE, don't worry you can't give it to your partner, a woman's defences will easily kill the bacteria involved, it's just a pain in the ass, pardon the pun.

Ok...so I am female, not a doctor, but can sympathize with you guys on this one. The only reason I happened past this site, was because I was filling out a medical history report for my son and I was trying to remember what procedure they did on him over 13 years ago. My 8 year old son had a pea sized lump in his testicle, with pain (locally and in abdomen) and some swelling as well as discoloration. Clearly he did not have an STI. Had a small pea-sized growth in his epididimus, which was discovered with an ultrasound. It was so horribly uncomfortable that he could not ride his bike, wear jeans, etc. Took him to a urologist who was very sympathetic with him (maybe because he was a child) and while he did not want to do surgery, eventually did to remove the pea-sized mass (non-cancerous) and we went about his merry little way. Sounds like you need to find new urologist. He's 21 now and has never had another problem since.

I am 38 years old and found that same lump on my left testicle. It aches here and there and is more swollen than my right. I don't have any issues with peeing or ejactulating I have an appointment next month for a physical. I will ask my doctor to check. I don't have any STDs. I was checked last year and haven't been sexual since. Long story short, someone I was with may have messed with a dude that was POS. So it freaked me out. I'm clean all the way. But this is bugging me. The left epididymatus is little more swollen than the right. I can feel it. I used to masterbate everyday but since I found this I have been doing it 1-2 times a week. Anyone can relate? Hit me up!!

I have a hard pea sized lump on the head of my epididymis as well. I got hit in the left testicle about 7 months back and football, and since then, I've had symptoms such as my left testicld is higher then normal, larger, and there is a pea sized lump on the very top. It will also occasionally get a little firm, but with soften up. I'm so scared I have cancer. I'm going to the dr in 2 weeks because I'm out of state currently. If anyone has any input please let me know. Also, the lump is hard, but a little squishy at the same time. I can't tell if it moves, but it feels attatched, or part of the epididymis somehow. I'm a 15 year old male and I'm so scared I have cancer. Please someone give me input.

I also have this problem, mine has been long term, I found mine about 14 year ago when I was a teenager and was to scared to get it checked. I still have it and still causes the shallow pain from time to time. it's been checked and been told not to worry about it. I figured if it was anything serious something would of happened by now so all is good :)
