Hi, I had an accidant and veins leading to my penis got blocked somehow. Heard about penile revasculization surgery and not sure should I do it. I fear that my condition will just go worse. I`m 25 and it would be nice to use my equipment. Sounds to me like the surgery is the only solution so far?
Hi, I think you`re talking about penile prostheses? Penile revasculization surgery probably means to get one of those devices to fix your penis. Penile prosthesis have two components that are implanted within erection chambers. Inflatable penile prostheses can be inflated for erection. Penile prosthesis are implanted under anesthesia, no tissue is removed and a blood loss is small. Or so they say. And there is that one-month-long pain after penile revasculization surgery. The problems can occur, of course, and you could get yourself some nice infection (1-5% of cases). The worse part is that in order to eliminate the infection you will have to remove the prosthesis. Why don`t you try some herbs or meds, instead of this penile revasculization surgery? Sounds mean to me...
A penile prosthesis is a medical device implanted in the penis requiring a surgical procedure. The device is often used for men with organic or treatment-resistant psychogenic impotence who suffer from erectile dysfunction. A penile prosthesis is also used in the final stage of plastic surgery phalloplasty to complete female to male gender reassignment surgery as well as during total phalloplasty for adult and child patients that need male genital modification. for more details ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed
