period lasted for 3 weeks whats wrong?

I took the plan B pill two months in a row...I had regular periods after both times, but this month i didn't need one and i had my period for 3 weeks but it was heavy bleeding at first then normal then super light, I have some kind of soreness going on around my armpit area but no other pregnancy symptoms...Any idea what could be going on?
