I too have the same problem everyone is describing.  It started on my left cheek though and now I have a patch on my back that does it too.  I told my doc my annual last week.  They ran tests and everything is normal except my white blood cell count is high. I was told to wait and get tested again in a month. Meantime the tingling is still happening and more often.  Has ANYONE received any answers at all?????  I read through the thread and can't find any...

Dear souls--- I believe the tingling sensation is probably due to a form of TICK illness. All of the tick illnesses ultimately reach the brain and central nervous system even with prior antibiotic treatment in the past. You may discover that by using an antibiotic intermittently every few weeks for as long as a year will help to alleviate many of the problems your are having. Also-lyme disease in all its forms despises heat. Use a heating pad, sauna or whirlpool regularly to knock out organisms. The other thing that really helps is vigorous exercise preferably with a trainer at a gym if possible. At first it will be most difficult to begin exercising but persevere and maintain discipline as this is one form of treatment you have access to consistently. Take co enzyme q10 supplement regularly which helps to deliver oxygen to the tissues. The Most important aid you can enforce is the power of prayer to our Lord and savior JESUS CHRIST.We are living in dangerous times and without him at your side it will be near impossible to withstand the days we are in. Research the Holy Bible , The JESUS PRAYER, the armor of God, and a book called Corrupting The Image by Douglas Hamp . These suggestions are only a beginning for you as time and space will not allow any information of great length here..Do the HOMEWORK and RESEARCH. May God bless you and keep you under his guidance and protection.

Did you ever get that figured out?? It may be hyperpigmentation which can be associated with nostalgia parasthetica! I have the same symptoms everyone is mentioning on my scapula left side to my spine tingling sensation I hope this is just a pinched nerve. I’m going to see my chiro and hopefully get it fixed.

That’s exactly how long mine lasts! 10 minutes at most and comes about once a week maybe twice. I’ve only started to notice it more recently but it’s been happening for about a month now on my left scapula in between that and my spine. Very light tingling almost numb feeling I hope I can get this figured out.

This makes perfect sense! I cook alot and find myself hunched over while prepping meals and washing dishes. This could go on for hours and every day. I started feeling numbness in the back of my right shoulder blade, right along my bra line, when I was at the sink washing dishes or prepping ingredients. Now it's starting to move down my lower back. But no pain, just tingling and numbness.

Hi all, I have had this tingling sensation in my back for almost a year! It's not painful or itchy just annoying. It's also on the side of my left shoulder blade and I think I have figured it out. I have probably been without the sensation for a month. Sugar was the problem. Try no sugar for a day and see if that's not your problem too. Good luck

So I went to the doctor and I’m 56. My back is getting arthritis and the inflammation was causing nerves to be compressed. He gave me Mobic and it worked like a charm! My advice- get off the internet and see a doctor

Hey, I’m 13. I am having this same exact sensation that a lot of you have been describing. It started with a stressful activity in the outdoors, then later in the day I started having a tingling sensation in a spot on back below the bottom right shoulder blade next to the spine. It happens periodically and a red spot appears there often. Biofreeze (a roll-on muscle soother) doesn’t seem to be effective in making it go away, and as I speak it just came back again. Hope there is an explanation for it. It’s pretty uncomfortable; like ants crawling on back.
