Hi,
I am a healthy mother over 30 years old. I have suffered from intolerance to bright light in the last 6 months. I used allergy eye drops for about 5 months. A month ago, an Ophthalmologist examined my eye, and diagnosed it as "pterygium". So I went to see a well-known doctor who has done over 1000
pterygium removal surgeries. But this specialist thought it is not "pterygium". It is "Peripheral ulcerative keratiti" instead. And he suggested I should go and see a rheumatologist. But I know I don't have any rheumatoid arthritis. What specialist should I go to see?
Since this is a rare case, my primary care doctor might not know anything about it either....
I would be grateful if anyone could provide me with more info.
Thanks,
C. T.
