It is "hidradenitis suppurativa". Go to a dermatologist - they will recommend a type of ointment. But keep away from sugars and go to a "whole wheat" diet as much as possible. I get them between my legs, and they leave pitted like scars. I also go on Ortho tri cyclen and it helps, but I normally get a flair right before I ovulate and have my cycle.. and don't wear clothes that rub that area. Hot baths with ebson (sp?) salt works, and using a antibacterial soap as body wash while they are there. I have also talked to a plastic surgeon and it is removable and can be covered under insurance. Mine will be, it was caused by a reaction to a medication due to my PCOS.

I hope this helps you and that you find a while to cope.. and don't pop them. That seems to leave scars.. just let them go away. The ointment will help them heal faster, also a triple antibiotic (neosporen) will help.. :)

You are correct. I've had the same systoms for over 10 years now and was diagnosed w/ hidradenitis suppurativa. There is no cure, mostly passed generation to generation (however I'm the first one that seems to have it in my family). I get a cream from the doctor to put on them when I first notice them. If I wait, it is too late.

I have the same kind of thing. It started as a pimple on my breast but now it's just kind of an open p***y sore? and much bigger than the original zit. It's very itchy and hasn't stopped oozing for a few days. I'm starting to get concerned. I've been cleaning it with rubbing alcohol (i know, i know. it's the only thing i have) and neosporin but it's not really getting better. I'll probably be heading to
my school's health center to have it checked out this week.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be MRSA (Mutated Staph).

Go see a doctor! This sounds like an extreme case of impetigo, I had the same symptoms all summer, and it is only treatable with oral antibiotics.

Hi, This sounds like boils and what your describing as tissue may be in fact the core of the boil. Generally with boils, you will continue to get them until the core has been removed.

Also you could make a paste with wildflower honey and Tumeric it will stain your skin and clothes so make sure to cover with a bandaid works as an antimicrobial kills MRSA.

The only way for this to go away is to start on antibiotics to stop the infection. It happened to me right over a new tattoo I just got on my arm :/ I started antibiotics and I hope it doesn't scar up like some of the other ones I've gotten :/
