Okay i've had very similar symptoms that everyone else is feeling for about 2 years now:'( if anyone finds out what is wrong with them please list on here.
here is my symptoms--, pins and needles all over body, triggered from heat and stress.. random pains all over my body, tingling all over body and leg heaviness..AND THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD... WHEN I'M IN THE HEAT I GET A FREEZING COLD SENSATION ALL OVER MY WHOLE BODY AND THE ONLY THING THAT RELIEVES THIS FEELING IS COLD AIR. (sorry for the caps)
I have been to about 20 doctors with these symptoms, I've been checked for ms and any autoimmune disease you can think of and they all came up negative, i've had blood tests etc also all negative.
someone please help, i'm young and the last 2 years of my life i've been stuck in my room sitting next to an air condition because of these symptoms, I can't exercise I can't do anything, my doctor just writes it off as anxiety which I don't have.. someone please help me and these other sufferers

I was wondering how your pins & needles were going... still happening? Have you ever given Magnesium supplements a try? I had the pins & needles in my legs, arms, hands, fingers and toes - about 2 1/2 years ago now. At first I found strong multi B (Vitamins) tablets to be useful with it, but then after a while I noticed that it still occurred, but not as often. So then somebody recommended I try a Magnesium Complete capsule daily, this was because it relaxes nervous tension and the nerves (in my arms & legs) and it's great for a variety of other symptoms. Magnesium (Mg) is very safe to take on a regular basis. It is kind of like Chlorophyll for humans. Most human deficiencies start with a deficiency of Mg and then they move on to more symptomatic responses, eg. pins & needles, an Fibromyalgia like pain in the legs etc. Then if the Mg gets low, your body will do all it can to compensate this loss by borrowing from other vitamins & minerals present in your body. Unfortunately the next to go is the B vitamins (B1, B6 & B12) being the main nerve related ones, but then there's B2, B3, B5, B9, B15) all of these are important too. So if you want to supplement your B vitamins just take a good/reliable Multi B supplement (not a multi-vitamin). Low Mg and low B's can then bring on a deficiency of Potassium, so when Magnesium & Potassium is low, [low Potassium = Hypokalemia] (even if you already have a low salt diet). Low Mg & Potassium then starts to push up a person's sodium content and it also raises our calcium levels to a point that it could/might cause calcification of the joints & or the soft tissues, muscles, etc. The good news however, is that if you can get your Magnesium to rise the rest will start to balance out to their correct levels by themselves. You will also find your other negative symptoms associated with deficiencies will dissipate in time, when you get yourself on a good Magnesium supplement.

Hi there,
I was wondering if you have had any joy in diagnosing?
I have exactly the same symptoms as you (which makes me feel better in some way!!) I also get the reaction if I go out of a warm house to walk, run etc on a cool-cold day.

I have tingling all over my body and it's lasted for 5 years. I've had nerve testing, MRI's, blood tests and whatever they can think of, but nothing was found. I am now trying to go gluten free as I've read that things like gluten and MSG in your diet can cause tingling and nerve damage.

If you've investigated all the medical tests and nothing was found, perhaps it is time to try alternative medicine. Have you spoken to a Naturopath in this last 5 years about your symptoms, or only the Medical Specialists? It would be useful for you to have a hair analysis to check your system for Toxic or Heavy Metals. Mercury overload from dental fillings can create havoc in the body, particularly with tingling, pins and needles, spaciness and also nerve damage.

I'm having the same problem. I went to the doctors and he just wrote it off as stress and said the pain would go away just as quickly as it started. It started back in December and happens multiple times a day now :(. Has anyone else tried the Magnesium Supplements?

Hi, I have been feeling the same things.
Did you get your answer? Did it get better?

No I haven't and I really would like to know what's going on. Update: I've tried Magnesium and B100 capsules and they help in keeping my body from overheating but the pins and needles sensation remains. Now the pain is bearable but is still not going away. Something new that has started is that I'm getting severe headaches on the right side of my brain and pressure is particularly strong at my right temple. It feels as if someone is poking a needle through my temple. This sensation lasts for the duration of the "attack" and then goes away.
