Almost a week and a half ago I had protected sex with a stranger (stupid, I know, and I will never do it again).  I was so worried, that the next morning I took PLan B.  I had some fairly intense cramps for a few days, then started bleeding 3 days after taking Plan B.  This was the usual timing of my period, so I didn't think anything of it and was relieved to start.  The flow was a little heavy and I am still spotting, both of which kind of uncharactersitic for my periods, but I attribute it to Plan B.

Last night I began having off and on back pain, and I'm still have cramps (less painful, but still there).  Again, I didn't think anything of it, but then I read somewhere that those are also signs of pregnancy.  Is there any chance I am pregnant?  I've searched the internet a lot, and haven't found anyone inquiring about symptoms lasting this long after heavy bleeding.  Also, haven't found too many people discussing back pain.

Please help!

You said the sex was protected, you took the Plan B soon enough for it to be effective as it possibly could be and you are the one of the rare ones who did get the period on time despite Plan B... so, I really really don't see how could you possibly be pregnant. Yes, Plan B had its effects and pains could also be the pill's fault, but the fact that back pain is not discussed as an early sign of pregnancy is simple - it's not an early sign, women who experience back pain in pregnancy do so because baby (few months old) is pressuring internal organs and spine. So, no, not a chance you are pregnant.
