I am reading about polyarteritis nodosa, and its symptoms, and I was hoping that you could give me a helping hand. I would like to find out what the differential diagnosis is for polyarteritis nodosa or PAN. Are there people with polyarteritis nodosa who could answer this question for me?
There are other types of necrotizing vasculitis that have similar symptoms. If the following symptoms are presentd, polyarteritis nodosa is a likely diagnosis - unexplained and sudden weight loss and fevers, cardiovascular or central nervous system ischemic complaints, neuropathy and hypertenstion.
