Poor sleeping quality due to frequent erections at night

I am 54. In the last 7-8 years, I have been waking up at least 4,5 times a night with morning wood, very hard morning wood. And it stays very hard until I become fully awake. Sometimes I can get rid of it by turning to the other side to sleep. It interrupts my sleep almost every night. It is not an enlarged prostate. I do not drink much water at night so I do not need to get up and urinate. I have adequate sex or masterbation for my age. I eat a lot fruits and vegetables and tend to have more gas than usual. Could it be too much gas in my digestive system which pressured my prostate during sleep? I wear ear plugs when I sleep because I am a light sleeper.

I also have the similar condition, constant waking up due to penile erections at night. That prevents me of getting a quality rest. Can somebody give some feedback? Thanks

Me too. It's great to know that I can still get so unbelievably hard but unfortunately these erections are not erotic, just uncomfortable!!

Have the same problem and have been dealing with this for the past year. It continues to worsen and I'm looking for answers. I think there are some pelvic floor issues going on with it. Sleep Apnea may be related to this. Anyone finding that they have a firm or hard flaccid penis?

I have the same condition. Sleep related painful erection... :(

I take baclofen and amitryplene . Baclofen worked for a while. But now I am right back where I started.

Any news on this condition. Seeing more docs next week.
