What is the possibility for the adolescents to have insomnia like their parents? I am 45 years old and I have been having so much trouble falling asleep lately. And when I do, I wake up easily and of course, I am always tired. Could this be something my kids will have to suffer from when they grow up?

I am afraid that there is a chance they will have the same problem but only if they let it happen. This means that insomnia is something that develops when there is something wrong in a patient’s life. That could be too much work, too much stress, anxiety etc. Even an unhealthy diet could cause problems like those. So, try to teach them how to improve their lifestyle. And you can start that by improving yours.
