and I have alwyas had issues with my female parts

fast forward to april 2013 I had abalation surgery done for heavy and bad cramping periods that  I had been  on the pill since 17 till 41 for and then off and on bc from 41-44 I have a very high threshold for pain (live with a chronic pain illness for the past 5 years)

I was one who faired well on bc but decided to try  progesterine cream in the fall of 2013 since my prog hormone level had been in the tank for yearsafter starting the cream ...every month for 3 months,  the day after my period started i was getting horrible pain mainly on the right ovary, it would last 24 hours

I stopped the progeseteron in jan and the pain disappaited immediately that is until I suffered a horrible loss of a family member  in june and the next day (from crying all day) I had horrible pain in right ovary againI took some meds to knock me out but the next day it was still very painful the day after taht  so i finally got around to getting the TV sonogram done ... (that my gp prescribed a few month earlier but the pain had stopped so i blew it off , plus have many chronic health issues i am dealing with) results when to my GP , he said it showed no cysts ?? I was like how could that be I was in soo much pain I dindt read the results  in full until this week, and noticed that the ovaries werent  even visualized .... so my question is how could they tell if there were any cysts if the ovaries wernt visualized ??? is that common ??

I also noticed that my right ovary is double the size of the left one and the right one is the one that kills me with pain and has had complex cysts on it where as the left one usually has simple cysts on it

I started taking evening primrose oil in the beg of july ,   I had pain around my period but it wasnt the doubling over type of pain and thought I was in the clear that is until this past monday ;(      ...continued to have pain off and on in both ovaries since then

  this past  Monday , 9/1... I started my period (very light due to the abalation which is great) and then bam! the next day , tues pain started horribly around noon I finally decided to have my neighbor take me to the ER  at 730pm on tues  they were of NO  help , after 2 hourss of agonizing pain (laying in the lobby with a blanket over my entire body including my face cuz i was in so much pain, i am usually very stoic with my pain  ) the ER doc didnt even want to do an ultrasound, but told him to one, so i could take results to my new obgyn/pelvic pain doc on the 15th of this month

they gave me pain med that made me vomit (zofran didnt help with the nausea) and they didnt really care they wanted to give me more pain med and send me hometold me to call my pain management doctor (which i dont have) and obgyn (well dugh!)

I declined the pain med and got the heck out of there all the doctor said was yes i had a cyst that was it  as far as the ultrasound ... I did not care for him at all and that is not like me I give everyone a chance , but you could tell I wasnt a priortiy for him he did say he didnt have ovaries and I managed to say 'be thankful that you dont"

sorry so long but i am a detailed person , I had a laperoscopy in my late 20's for endometreosis , I have a feeling I have that and other stuff going on since stopping the pill and having the abalation surgery , Oh I also have a small fibroid that has gotten a little bit bigger since finding out about in april of 2013

my sister and mom both had hysterectomies in their early 30's due to fibroids and pain

i was on the pill so i was fine with no cramping, no fibroids, less bleeding  until the last 3-4 years after i stopped the pill the TV ultrasound from the Er on Tues 9/2 showed  my right ovary at 5.7x 3.8x 3.8cm which is more than double my left ovary , and the right one is the painful one,  the complex cyst on the right ovary is 4.5x3.2 ..is that considered a medium or large cyst ? also i read these can be malignant (small percentage) but I want to know what all i am dealing with when I see new doc on 9/15 ... I am really bloated today and still in pain but not doubled over pain if new doc wants me to get a hyster should i just do ovaries or get the uterus out as well ? does removing the ovaries effect your sex drive ? (that is the only thing for some unknown reason that is working on me right now and dont want to lose it even though i dont have  significant other ;)

i also saw on the ultrasound in april of 2013 that my ovaries are shaggy and I possibly had a small septum ??? i had never heard of either of those but looked them up ...sounds like i should just get rid of everything
