Hi Everyone
And thanks in advance for any replies…
My wife had her foot operated on by keyhole surgery 5 months ago in October 2010
Her follow up appointment with the surgeon indicated that all was completely normal and almost healed.
(Both toe bones large and small re set with non removable screws and the bunions shaved back)
However, 5 months on and she still has a persistent pain in her right big toe that sometimes even now causes her to limp. There seems to be a problem with either muscle or nerves as some of her big toe is numb, whilst other parts are alive separated by a line of pins and needles (please see photo)
We would really appreciate any comments as maybe this is a job for a physio or acupuncturist rather than bother the surgeon again.
