My cardiologist is not concerned about my recent blood test. My potassium level was 5.3. Should I not be concerned? My kidney tests came back fine & the rest of my blood tests were fine.
I don't think you need to be concerned.
The normal potassium range for adults is 3.5 to 5.5 milliequivalents (mEq) per liter.
If you are healthy and exhibit no medical issues, I wouldn't worry about it. The next time you have it checked it will most likely be lower.
